One of the names that comes up frequently when I discuss the world bachata scene with Jorge Elizando is Rodney (Rodchata) Aquino. Rodney is another one of the pioneers of bachata in the US scene (as well as worldwide). I’m really happy to see the increased publicity for bachata as it comes ‘out of the closet’ in the US.
One of the things that I know is going to happen is that there’s going to be a whole new layer of opportunity for new stars of genre. ”Rodchata” is one such fellow who embraced bachata early on and I suspect a lot of you don’t know much about him so I thought I’d share a few posts and videos with you Click here: Wandering Salsero
